Privacy Policy
Hide Faces & Data · Pixelate · Effective 27 July 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Hide Faces & Data - Pixelate app for Apple devices, together with any related services operated by IE Artem Dorozhkin (the "Service Provider") (collectively, the "Application").
Your Photos Never Leave Your Device
This is the most important thing to know about the Application. Every photo you open, edit, pixelate, blur or export is processed entirely on your device. Your images are never uploaded to the Service Provider's servers or to any third party, never stored remotely, never used to train any model, and never seen by the Service Provider or anyone else. There is no account, no login and no cloud sync in the Application.
The Application works without an internet connection for its core editing functions.
Face and Text Detection
The Application can find faces and text automatically so that you can hide them in one tap, and it also lets you select areas manually. All detection runs locally on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. Detection determines only where a face or a piece of text appears in an image — it does not identify who a person is.
No biometric identifiers are created, stored, shared or transmitted. The Application does not build face templates or faceprints, does not perform facial recognition, and does not match faces against any database. Detection results exist only in memory while you are editing and are discarded afterwards.
Photo Library and Camera Access
The Application asks for access to your photo library so that you can choose images to edit and save the edited result back. If you use the camera, access is requested for capturing a new photo. These permissions are used solely for the editing you initiate. You can review or revoke them at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security. Access is limited to the photos you select.
What Information Is Collected
The Application has no registration or login and does not ask you for personal information such as your name, email address or phone number. It contains no third-party analytics and no advertising SDKs. The Application itself collects nothing: no usage tracking, no identifiers, no diagnostics sent to the Service Provider.
The Application does not display advertising, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. For this reason no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown.
Purchases
Pixelate Pro purchases and the optional subscription are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account, using Apple's StoreKit on the device. The Service Provider never receives your payment details. Purchase entitlements are verified on your device; standard aggregate sales reports provided by Apple to developers contain no personally identifiable information. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Location
The Application does not request or collect location information. Photos you select may contain location metadata recorded by your camera; that metadata stays inside the image file on your device and is never transmitted to the Service Provider.
Your Choices
You may manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. If you have questions about data associated with your purchases, or wish to request deletion of any information you have voluntarily sent to the Service Provider (for example by email), contact iosappassistance@gmail.com.
Children
The Application is not directed to children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider so that the necessary action can be taken.
Security
Because your photos are processed only on your device and no personal data is collected directly, the risk of exposure is minimal. Data held by the providers listed above is protected by their own security measures. No system is completely secure; if a data breach occurs involving information you have voluntarily provided, the Service Provider will notify you as required by applicable law.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post material changes on this page with a new effective date. Previous versions are available on request at iosappassistance@gmail.com.
Your Consent
By using the Application you consent to the processing described in this Privacy Policy. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
