Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Cleaner app for Apple devices operated by IE Artem Dorozhkin (the "Service Provider") (the "Application").

The Short Version

Cleaner does not collect your content. The Application has no account or registration, no analytics SDKs and no advertising. Photo analysis, text recognition and contact matching happen entirely on your device — your photos, videos, contacts and notes are never uploaded anywhere. The only data processed off-device relates to in-app purchases, as described below.

What Data the Application Accesses and Why

• Photo library — with your permission, the Application reads your photos and videos to find screenshots, similar photos, large videos, Live Photos and photos containing text. Analysis (including text recognition using Apple's on-device Vision framework) is performed on your device only. Photos are deleted only when you explicitly choose to delete them, and always through the system dialog, which moves them to the Recently Deleted album.
• Contacts — with your permission, the Application reads your contacts to find duplicates. Contacts are merged or deleted only when you explicitly confirm the action.
• Face ID — used only to unlock your Secret Space. Biometric data is processed by iOS itself and is never available to the Application.

None of this data leaves your device. The Service Provider has no access to it.

Secret Space

Items you place in Secret Space (photos, videos, contacts, notes) are stored locally in the Application's private storage on your device, protected with iOS data protection. They are not uploaded anywhere. Your Secret Space passcode is stored on your device as a cryptographic hash. If you delete the Application, the contents of Secret Space are deleted with it.

Purchases (Cleaner Pro)

Optional Cleaner Pro purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. To manage and restore purchases, the Application uses RevenueCat, which processes your purchase history and a random app-specific user identifier. This identifier is not linked to your name, email or other personal details, which the Application never asks for. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Data Collected Automatically

Beyond the purchase data described above, the Application collects nothing. Apple may provide the Service Provider with aggregated, anonymized statistics (such as install counts and crash reports) through App Store Connect if you have opted in to sharing analytics with app developers in iOS settings; this data does not identify you.

Your Choices

You can revoke access to Photos and Contacts at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security. The corresponding features will stop working. You can remove all data handled by the Application by deleting the Application.

Children

The Application does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post material changes on this page with a new effective date.
